The humble instruction manual is a critical piece of documentation. Without it, users would find it impossible to operate a product, interact with software, or build that piece of IKEA furniture. A well-written instruction manual ensures proper use and minimal challenges for the end-user.
Here I have created a set of instructions for using a proprietary database management system (known as ETA). These instructions are written to bridge the gap between the software engineers and the end-uses. The challenge here is understanding the technical details of the software and translating this for the layman.
